YouTube removes gambling channels from hosting without warning

The YouTube hosting service started removing official online casino channels without warning in early 2018.

On July 30, PlayFortuna channel was blocked - the only official platform, which covered the novelties of online platforms, held drawings and annotated the providers of gaming platforms.

The wave of blocking that began in 2018 affected several dozen users of the Gaming section, with an audience of over 100,000 subscribers.

YouTube does not comment on the reasons for the active blocking of gambling channels, but a special topic for appeals has appeared on the hosting forum. Representatives of the gambling industry hope that this is a bug in the system and not because of Google's recent statements about penalties for casino advertising.
