Gambling zone "Krasnaya Polyana": the most promising entertainment cluster in Russia
Among the few Russian gambling zones, Krasnaya Polyana in Sochi is considered the most promising. This has been shown by numerous studies by gambling analysts. The regional government and casino owners plan to further develop these territories. It is assumed that in a few years the gambling cluster will become an international entertainment center. To achieve this goal, one or two new facilities will be opened here annually. This information was voiced by Dmitry Anfinogenov, who is the director of development of the Sochi gambling cluster.
Let us recall that in the spring of 2021, a theater was opened in the Sochi Casino. Very soon, it is planned to expand the Boomerang casino, launch a new hall with gaming slots and open a new restaurant. The majority of visitors to Sochi gambling establishments are men aged 25-40 years, living in large cities (mainly in Moscow) and receiving a stable salary (at least 80 thousand rubles). The casino management also intends to attract even more tourists from other countries. Over 4 years, more than 2.5 million visitors from 170 countries have already visited it.
As the cluster's press service representatives stated, "Krasnaya Polyana" has become the most recognizable gambling zone in Russia. 73% of the country's population know about it. For example, only 28% of the respondents know about the gambling zone "Yantarnaya" (Kaliningrad Region), and only 24% know about "Primorye" (Vladivostok). The gambling cluster in Sochi has the most positive image. Slightly less popular is the cluster "Golden Coast", which is only planned to be put into operation in Crimea.
By the way, it makes sense to recall that representatives of the Sochi gambling zone management recently stated that by 2026 they intend to reach the level of Las Vegas. At least, the development of Krasnaya Polyana is happening according to approximately the same concept. Attracting new tourists will allow investors to increase their income from investments in casinos and other related facilities.
