The May holidays were not in vain: about 40 thousand people visited gambling zones in Russia
The results of the first ten days of May 2023 have been summed up in Russian gambling zones. Let us recall that there are four operating in the Russian Federation today. These are Primorye (Vladivostok), Sibirskaya Moneta (Altai), Krasnaya Polyana (Sochi) and Yantarnaya (Kaliningrad). The numbers are quite impressive. In just 10 days, 38,300 people visited the casinos. Interestingly, the vast majority came to Sochi. In total, almost 23,000 people checked in at Krasnaya Polyana. This gambling zone has been steadily growing in attendance for several years now. For example, in 2021, 20,300 people visited it during the same period, and in 2022, more than 22 thousand players.
As the CEO of this gambling zone noted, the administration manages to attract an increasing number of guests due to the “non-gaming events” held. That is, it is precisely this kind of activity that allows for a significant improvement in the indicators. For example, indicative in this regard can be considered concert of M. Shufutinsky, which took place in the Sochi Casino on May 1 this year. On that day alone, more than 3,200 people visited the gambling establishment. Such statistics are quite comparable with January (New Year's holidays).
The Primorye gambling zone became the second most visited and, accordingly, most popular. About 8,500 players came here in the first 9 days of May. There is no growth in attendance, but stability is evident. In 2021, during the same period, the casino received almost 8,700 guests, and last year - 8,850 players. Accordingly, the third place goes to the Siberian Coin cluster. There is a steady increase in attendance. If in 2021 the casino opened its doors to 3,400 people, and in 2022 - 4,630, then this year, 2023, 4,800 players came to the casino. The general director of this zone explains the steady increase in the number of guests with the development of domestic tourism. An increasing number of Russians are seeking to get to Altai as tourists, as it is becoming a very popular destination.
Unfortunately, the Yantarnaya gambling zone cannot boast the same. This year, there has been a significant decline in the number of tourists during the May holidays. A total of 2,780 players came to Kaliningrad to visit the casino. This is 45% less than in previous years. Based on statistics, the administration of all gambling zones concluded that every year, the demand from guests for higher service and non-gaming entertainment events is growing.
