Gambling zone "Yantarnaya": development continues
Just the other day, NAO Shambala received permission to commission a casino, which was built in the Yantarnaya gambling zone. This information appeared in the register of permits. In addition, the information was confirmed by the architect Alexander Bashin, who is the developer of this project. In particular, he was informed that by the beginning of October 2022, the first stage of the Shambala gambling establishment had already been built and was ready to open to receive the first visitors, which will happen after receiving the license. This will happen in the very near future.
The project developer also stated that the casino building is one-story, and its total area is 3.3 thousand square meters. The structure is part of a fairly large project developed earlier. It is assumed that upon completion of the construction of the entire complex, its area will be more than 20 thousand square meters, and the height will be about 40 meters. The casino was designed taking into account the customer's requirements and is an analogy of the gambling establishment Cazino Encore Wynn, which is located in the famous city of Las Vegas. There have been no comments from representatives of NAO Shambala regarding the commissioning of the first stage of the gambling complex.
Let us recall that back in 2021, the Government of the Kaliningrad Region announced the start of an auction for all those wishing to obtain the right to lease the necessary land plots located in the gambling zone under the "warm" name of "Yantarnaya". As a result of the auction, land with a total area of 3.3 hectares went to NAO "Shambala". As a result of the approvals, the annual rent was determined at the level of 61 million rubles. By the end of 2021, the special council of the Kaliningrad Region approved the project. The Shambala company is a resident of "Azov-City" (this gambling zone was closed at the end of 2020).
It is already known that investments in the first stage of the complex amount to about 3.5 billion rubles. The second stage will cost 4.5 billion rubles. It involves the construction of a hotel complex with a total area of 24 thousand square meters. In total, about 270 rooms will be opened in it.
