The amount of taxes from gambling activities of the IKRZ RF has significantly decreased
Recently, fresh data on tax deductions from Russian IKRZs already received by the state budget were published. Preliminary forecasts were also made on what amounts are expected by the end of the year.
Of course, quarantine measures, as a result of which all gambling establishments in Russia were closed, seriously affected the government's plans to receive income from organizing the gambling business in the country. However, experts predict a significant increase in income in the second half of the year.
Today, IKRZ, located in Primorsky Krai, is considered the most promising. Despite the fact that only one casino, Tigre de Cristal, is currently operating here, a new one, Shambala, will be opened very soon. As it became known, it is already recruiting employees. According to local authorities, IKRZ will transfer about 133 million rubles to the budget. For the first half of the year, revenues amounted to about 48 million. The authorities hope that by the end of the year they will be able to collect another 85 million rubles. By 2025, the regional authorities hope to reach a gigantic amount of taxes in the form of several billion rubles.
In Krasnodar Krai, gambling establishments opened in the first half of July. The tourist flow is gradually recovering. According to the authorities' plans for 2020, IKRZ should bring 440 million rubles to the budget. Over the six months, only 25.8% of this amount has been received, which is about 114 million rubles. Let us recall that last year the income was 103.4%.
In Altai, where another IKRZ operates, the income plan will most likely be fulfilled, since a new casino is to be opened there, which will really generate additional income. However, it is very likely that these plans will not be realized, since the IKRZ "Sibirskaya Moneta" has not worked very effectively before.
Thanks to the activities of the Yantarnaya IKRZ, which has only one casino, it was expected that the regional budget would be replenished by 126 million rubles. For the first half of this year, plans were fulfilled by only 32% (43 million rubles). Last year, about 52 million rubles were received for the same period. However, the regional authorities hope that the situation will improve.
