Shadow entrepreneurs of the gambling industry will be brought to court

In Russia regularly "pop up" underground gambling establishments, which are detected by law enforcement agencies, closed, and the organizers of the profitable business are detained. Sometimes illegal casinos and halls manage to work very "productively", but in the end they are still closed. Just the other day the general public became aware of two such cases. Today, criminal cases have been opened and sent to the judicial authorities.

A large network of underground gambling establishments was revealed in Crimea. The total number of participants of the criminal group amounted to more than 30 people. In recent years - this is one of the largest illegal organizations that opened underground casinos. Naturally, each participant had a different "role", so the degree of guilt of the members of the group is also different. In any case, today they are accused of the following:

Organization of an underground network of gambling establishments without a license and outside the designated special zones.
Involvement of Russians in fraudulent schemes.
Involvement of juveniles in crime.
Establishment of an organized criminal group.

The main inspirer and organizer of the criminal association was a resident of the Kemerovo region. He organized a criminal association, which, led by him, extracted illegal profits from the summer of 2021 to the spring of 2022. In the community, in addition to adult members, two persons under the age of 18 were involved. Six underground casinos operated in several Crimean cities (Yalta, Simferopol, Kerch). Profits from illegal activities amounted to more than 70 million rubles. Employees of the local Ministry of Internal Affairs and the FSB contributed to the termination of criminal activity. All necessary investigative activities have already been carried out. The guilt of all participants of the community has been proven, their cases were sent to the district court of Simferopol city

The Moscow region has also distinguished itself. Very soon another organized group of 22 people will be brought to trial. The main organizers are three Russians. In the course of the investigation, sufficient evidence was found to confirm the illegal activities of the group. The equipment, black accounting, more than 60 units of means of communication, etc. were seized. The case on the organization of illegal gambling establishments will be considered by the Odintsovo court.
