Amazing Statistics of the Modern Gambling Industry
By the company OLBG, related to betting, a study was recently conducted, which revealed that at least four out of ten gambling users have never been to land-based casinos, but only visited online establishments. The number of respondents surveyed was not as large as is customary for serious large studies, but even 1,000 people who participated in the survey give an idea of the attendance of casinos, bookmakers and gaming halls.
Among the reasons why gamers prefer online, very different reasons were named. For example, 20% are simply too lazy to go anywhere or said they have no friends willing to join them. About 23% are sure that if they visit a land-based casino, something will definitely go wrong and they will lose a lot. More than 22% believe that they will look ridiculous when the excitement reaches its peak. An interesting fact is that even those respondents who have visited traditional gambling establishments have visited them only 1-2 times in their lives.
Following a survey conducted by company representatives Online Betting Guide it was noted that Online gambling resources are becoming increasingly popular, and most of them easily adapt to the rapidly changing market conditions, conducting rebranding and other events. Unlike land-based casinos, which are “hard to get into” (about 43% respondents said this), online clubs are free for almost everyone (except for age and territorial restrictions for some). Among respondents who are still willing to visit land-based casinos, about 49% said they would like to play in London, more than 31% dream of going to Las Vegas and only 11% would have fun in Paris.
The survey showed that the most popular gambling games are lotteries (more than 53%), betting (52% players place bets on sports) and poker, which is preferred by at least 40% respondents. Roulette is liked by only 16%. All respondents take part in various entertainments and do not specialize in one thing.
