Ban on instant lotteries
A draft law banning instant lotteries has been registered in the State Duma of the Russian Federation. The government and officials hope that after its adoption, it will be easier to combat illegal gambling under the guise of numerous lotteries. It is assumed that electronic tickets for non-draw lotteries will be banned. The authors of the bill also propose banning any lotteries conducted using information and telecommunications networks and technical devices.
The maximum lottery winnings are supposed to be set at no more than 70% from the lottery fund. In addition, each lottery organizer will be obliged to send part of the targeted payments to a specially organized state fund.
Gambling zone "Krasnaya Polyana" reports an increase in visitors
The Sochi gambling zone administration reported that the flow of visitors has increased significantly this year. In particular, in March 2019, it was visited by 22.7% people more than in the same period of 2018. The number of visitors to the casino in March was distributed as follows:
