New founder in Kyrgyzstan's first casino
Let us recall that quite recently, after a long break, the the first gambling establishment "Grand Casino". Over the past year, several founders have changed in the company that opened the gambling business. The other day, more changes became known. Arzybek Burkanov's son appeared among the founders of the company. Thus, today the owners of the company are the person mentioned above and the company owned by Pandey Arvind Janardan (India).
Who is this? Azat Burkanov, who became a co-owner of the first company in Kyrgyzstan to organize legal gambling? According to local journalists, this is the son of a former member of parliament and acting governor of one of the regions of Kyrgyzstan (in the past) Arzybek Burkanov, who is also a good acquaintance (if not a friend) of the country's president S. Japarov. In addition, he was his trusted person during the presidential elections. However, this is not surprising, since profitable business in almost all countries is somehow connected with the "powers that be."
The Grand Casino company received a license in late spring 2023. At the same time, the legalization of the gambling industry in the country became known back in 2022. The cost of the license is quite high - 84 million soms (approximately 83.8 million rubles). Let us recall that casinos in the country were closed in 2012. After 10 years, they decided to legalize the gambling industry again, since the country's authorities came to the conclusion that additional funds in the budget due to taxes from gambling activities would not be superfluous. Local residents and foreigners who have not reached the age of 21 are prohibited from playing in gambling establishments in the country. There is no doubt that thanks to the support of the authorities, the only company in Kyrgyzstan that received a license to provide services in the gambling industry will quickly reach the planned income.
