New casino in Russia: there will be more land-based gambling establishments
There is not a single region in Russia where cases of COVID-19 coronavirus infection have not been recorded. Various measures are being taken in different parts of the country to contain the spread of the epidemic. Today, all Russian gambling zones are closed to visitors, despite the fact that the situation with the sick is still under control in the places where they are located. Nevertheless, life has not stopped and the gambling business hopes for a quick recovery of revenues, which have fallen sharply due to reasons that are clear to everyone.
It has recently become known that very soon in the gambling zone "Siberian coin" the construction of the second casino will begin. This was announced by E. Deshevykh, who heads the local regional department for the development of resort and tourist activities. The tender for the construction was awarded to the company "Golden Swallow 8"According to the official, the start of construction activities is scheduled for May, and there are no reasons to postpone these dates yet.
According to the plan, which provides not only the timeframes but also the order of construction of the facilities, it is envisaged that construction will begin with a gaming hall, which, according to preliminary estimates, should have about 300 slots and ten tables for board games of various types. The second stage of construction involves the construction of a hotel. It will be built under the franchise of one of the well-known international brands. It is planned that the hotel will have a good number of rooms (150). The events of the second stage are planned for 2021-2023.
At the final stage of construction, which will last until 2024, a casino will be opened, the total area of which will be more than 5,000 m.2. In total, almost 10 hectares have been allocated for the new entertainment complex in the gambling zone. The exact amount of investment has not been disclosed, but according to experts, it exceeds 3.5 billion rubles.
It is worth recalling that the gaming zone "Siberian Coin" has been operating since 2014. Today, there is one casino operating here, which is part of the complex Altai Palace. Last year, more than 140 thousand people visited here. Investors are confident that after the construction of the new entertainment complex is completed, the number of visitors to the gambling zone will increase significantly.
