Ukrainian cyber police almost every day reports about new achievements in closing down online sites that violate the laws of our country. This time law enforcers stopped the activity not only of an online casino, but also of an offline site attached to it. VIP-According to the cyber police, the cost of entry alone was $1000. Users were invited to the lounge through online registration.
The closed casino complex was located in a private house on Sofiyivska Borschagivka. They were allowed here by invitations received in the SMS after registering on a site that also offered real money play, but online. The cost of entry to the physical VIP-hall amounted to $1000. According to cyber police officers, this was the amount players were willing to pay for the Las Vegas atmosphere in Ukraine.
During a search conducted on December 2, cyber police and investigative officers seized computer and server equipment, 10 gambling tables, almost 2,000 gambling chips of different denominations, cards and cash. The activity of the server equipment and the institution was provided by 12 employees. Six players were also found in the casino.
As of today, law enforcers are trying to identify the organizers of the casino. An investigation is underway.
Earlier, the cyber police announced the liquidation of an illegal online casino network, the organizers of which, according to the head of the agency, were citizens of Russia and Lithuania.
