The Japanese are investing heavily in the Russian gambling industry

In particular, Japanese businessmen confirmed their participation in the development of the Primorye IKRZ, which is located near Vladivostok.
Investors from the Land of the Rising Sun met with interested parties from Khabarovsk Krai back in March of this year. Discussions of joint projects concerning the development of gambling services in this gambling zone were very productive. Communication continued during the events that took place the other day. Today, Primorsky Krai has become an example of how the pandemic has not become an obstacle to further cooperation between Russian and Japanese businessmen.
According to data received from the customs department of the Far Eastern region, exports in the first nine months of this year alone amounted to more than two million dollars. Almost 10% of this amount were investments by the Japanese in the gambling sector of the region. While other industries have seen a significant decline in investor activity, the gambling industry has shown very good results.
Vladivostok, and the entire region as a whole, are very popular with foreign investors. There is a special economic regime here. For example, the so-called "territory of advanced development", as well as the IKRZ "Primorye". Today, the well-known Japanese company Simple Create Co Ltd., together with Russian partners, is developing part of the gambling zone, which will soon fit into the gambling cluster of the region. The project provides for the construction of another casino, a hotel, a night club and other facilities. According to preliminary estimates, the Japanese side is going to invest more than 200 million dollars in the gambling zone.
