International summit postponed in Krasnaya Polyana due to pandemic
Russia is taking measures to prevent the rapid spread of coronavirus. In this regard, it was decided to postpone the event, which was previously scheduled to be held in IKRZ "Krasnaya Polyana". We are talking about World Poker Summit (WPS)This is done in order to ensure the safety of summit visitors.
According to representatives of the gambling zone, several applications have already been submitted for participation from various companies, including foreign ones. Due to the WHO announcement of the coronavirus pandemic, it was decided to postpone the summit for a year. According to preliminary data, the event will now be held at the end of May 2021.
D. Afinogenov, who is the development director of IKRZ, commented on this decision. According to him, the management of Krasnaya Polyana, first of all, cares about the safety of all guests of the complex. However, the importance of the cancelled event is quite high for the gambling industry, so it will be held in any case, just a little later.
Next year, during the WPS, the following exhibitions are planned (subject to changes and additions):
- online gambling;
- casinos and gambling houses;
- sports betting (bookmakers);
- eSports and everything connected with it;
- payment services.
The companies participating in the summit should present new products and services to the gaming community. In addition, it is expected that all interested parties will be able to study new gambling equipment. The organizers of the summit have also planned various master classes. All important issues of global gambling will be discussed in a fairly short time. It is assumed that the WPS will last three days. In addition to the companies involved in gambling, the summit is expected to be attended by representatives of various public organizations and the regional authorities.
In order to simplify visiting the international exhibition, simplified visa obtaining will be provided for participants. It is proposed to use single-entry electronic visas. Their term is short (16 days).
