Gambling will not be legalized in the UAE

Muslim countries are closed territories for gambling. This also applies to developed countries. Recently, Dubai officials issued a denial that gambling had been legalized there. The false information was spread on several resources. Mainly, we are talking about social networks. The press service employees stated that any gambling entertainment in the UAE is strictly prohibited. No one was going to allow it.

Naturally, the country's largest city, Dubai, will not be an exception. Just recently, some social media channels posted false information about the opening of official casinos in the city's largest hotels. At the same time, some claimed that even the dates were already known and named the exact dates to all interested network users.

Let us remind you that the UAE is very strict about gambling. In case of violation of the law, which concerns the organization or opening, management or supervision of gambling, a fine of 70-140 thousand dollars (payment is made in local currency) is provided. Repeated violation of the law will lead to even higher penalties.

After the press service employees spoke out to refute the information about the legalization of gambling, all local media outlets published information duplicating these statements. They stated that gambling is prohibited in the UAE and, in particular, in Dubai. This applies not only to land-based casinos, but also to online platforms. By the way, the well-known Caesars Entertainment company operates in the country, which is exclusively engaged in the hotel business, which is in no way connected with its main activity - the organization and opening of casinos.
