However, the Senate decided not to consider this bill for now, so Massachusetts residents will remain without bookmakers for now.
Ukrainian citizens have finally waited for the adoption of a law on the legalization of gambling in the country. On Friday, July 28, the long-suffering document was signed by the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada D. Razumkov. After the law was adopted in the second reading on July 14, it was blocked the same day due to new disagreements in its interpretation. Most gambling Ukrainians already perceive all the fuss around this document as a real circus, since the reasons why the law could not be adopted were sometimes truly strange.

On Friday, July 31, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law according to which bookmakers do not have the right to accept bets on non-sporting events. Let us recall that the law was adopted by the State Duma on July 22 and approved by the Federation Council on the 24th of the same month.
