Chicago opens first casino: 'temporary' for now

Today, casinos operate in many regions of the country, welcoming guests who prefer this type of recreation. In Chicago, everything is ready to open the first casino in the Medina Temple. What is interesting is that this gambling establishment is “temporary”. It is expected to operate for about three years until a permanent casino is launched in River West.
Just the other day, a Bally's sign appeared in River North. This is the management company opening a "temporary" gambling establishment. The owners of the company confirmed that the casino is already fully prepared for opening and is ready to receive its first visitors. The only thing left to do is to obtain permission to open from regulatory organizations. It will be issued after their representatives are convinced that all laws concerning gambling are observed.
The Temple of Medina, the building where the casino will operate, is a historical site with original architecture. One of the heads of the management company proudly stated that "in all likelihood, this is one of the most beautiful buildings in the world, given over to a "temporary" casino, it is simply unique." Gaming equipment was delivered to the casino back in June. Today, the management company is waiting for the final approval of the project from the regulator.
The three-story casino will have 800 slot machines and about 60 tables. The total area allocated for the club is just over 3,000 m2. Around 3.5 thousand guests can have fun here at the same time. Thanks to the opening of the establishment, around 3,000 new jobs will appear in Chicago. It is expected that around 55 million dollars in taxes will be received into the city budget due to the casino's activities.
