Casino for a ruble? Reality!
As is known, after the closure of the gambling zone in the Krasnodar region, the management company "Royal Time Group" was declared bankrupt. With its efforts, a complex consisting of a casino and a hotel was put into operation. The company put its property up for sale to reduce the losses incurred. The declared price is 290 million rubles. In the event that there are no people willing to buy the former casino and hotel for this price, the property will be sold for one ruble.
The lot offered for sale consists of several objects. These are:
- Oracle Hotel and Casino;
- boiler house and power plant;
- biological treatment facilities and transformer;
- pumping substation and several other unfinished objects.
The price of real estate will decrease gradually, every two weeks. If there are no people willing to buy buildings at reduced prices, the cost of the complex will reach one ruble in six months.
Let us recall that the Azov-City gambling zone operated for several years. More than 2.3 billion rubles were invested in it. However, several years after its opening, in 2015, the Russian government decided to close it by 2018. The motivation was as follows: several gambling zones should not be located in one region. That is, the commissioning of a casino in Sochi became the reason for the liquidation of a successfully operating gambling zone. The Royal Time Group company suffered colossal losses. An appeal to the court demanding compensation from the Krasnodar Territory administration did not help. The case was lost.
The complex has already been offered for sale for 322 million rubles, but there were no takers. Some experts claim that a hotel could be of interest, but without a working casino it is simply not needed in this area. Tourists are unlikely to visit the former gambling zone, since there is absolutely nothing to do there now.
