NetEnt's impressive profit growth figures for the second quarter of this year have been confirmed by CEO T. Hillman. Compared to the same period last year, the company's revenue has grown by 37% and amounted to almost 64 million dollars. If we consider the half-year period, then for the first half of this year, the company's revenue has grown by 30%. According to the company's representative, such figures are directly related to the restrictions on visiting land-based casinos introduced in many countries and the development of online gambling in this regard.
Incidentally, last month Evolution Gaming was offered a deal to acquire NetEnt for SEK 19.5 billion. More recently, the company has introduced its products to the Croatian, Swiss and Colombian markets, further increasing its attractiveness to potential buyers.
