The story that lasted for about two years has recently ended. A resident of Bryansk filed a lawsuit against the bookmaker and online casino 1XBet. The gambler accused the operator of fraud and theft of a solid sum of 1 million 590 thousand rubles from the game account. Let us recall that this gambling establishment has recently been banned in Russia and some other countries. Today, the owner of the resource is hiding in Cyprus.
The gist of the claims was as follows: a resident of Bryansk claimed that after a series of successful sports bets and winnings at an online casino, the above-mentioned amount had accumulated on his gaming account. One day, he was unable to log into his account. This situation continued for quite a long time until he finally managed to restore access to his gaming account.
To his disappointment and surprise, there was practically no money left on it. The main amount (recall, more than one and a half million rubles) disappeared from the deposit. After starting a dispute with technical support operators, he was told that the money had disappeared due to eight unsuccessful bets on sports competitions, made at the very time when the player's account was blocked.
A gambler filed a lawsuit, accusing the administration and owner of 1XBet of fraud. Allegedly, the bookmaker's employees made bets on his behalf without his knowledge. The local court did not find any elements of a crime, since the plaintiff did not present any evidence of fraudulent actions with his account.
The other day, this decision was confirmed by the regional court, where the victim filed an appeal. It was decided that the player placed bets himself and lost a large sum without anyone's help. The courts of both instances ruled that the complaint of the gambling resident of Bryansk was still far-fetched.
